Open Position: TECHNICIAN / TEMP

The Technician performs various operational and labor duties both in the field and at the shop:
  • Arrive on-time and ready to work with appropriate attire.
  • Perform field operations as directed by your supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe and secure worksite. Follow all safety protocols.
  • Operate trucks, equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure that all equipment used is restocked or replaced after use.
  • Prepare waste for shipment and delivery. Mange manifests and shipping paperwork.
  • Maintain an appropriate workplace persona.
  • Drive company vehicles as required and as authorized.
  • Maintain and contribute to a high level of morale.
  • Perform various housekeeping and custodial duties as required.
  • Perform simple maintenance and cleaning of response vehicles.
  • Work as directed on special projects as required.
  • Respond to all types of emergency response incidents 24 Hours a Day/ 7 Days a Week as required when on call.
  • Depending on geography and duties a cell phone may be issued. Proper use and appropriations are required.
  • Driver will be enrolled in a Random Drug Testing Program, and is therefore required to comply (refer to the company handbook, Section 4.0).
The Technician/TEMP position is an on-call position. Work hours are project specific and are not guaranteed. All employees must be HAZWOPER trained as a condition of employment. Training is provided but time at training class is not paid for. The position is an hourly position. Advancement in this section follows the following progression:
  • Driver/ Operator
  • Senior Driver
  • Operator Transportation Manager
  • Response Foreman
  • Response Supervisor
  • Operations Manager
  • Area Manager
Employees in this section receive an initial performance review at 90 days and an annual review thereafter. Depending on geography and duties a cell phone may be issued. Proper use and appropriations are required.

Open Position: RESPONSE SUPERVISOR

The Response Supervisor performs various operational and administrative duties both within the office and in the field:
  • Supervise work crews at the various jobsites.
  • Maintain a safe and secure worksite. Follow all safety protocols.
  • Prepare all timesheets, work summaries, and manifests as required.
  • Work alongside the Project Manager and assist in the management and direction of operational duties at spills, projects, and other jobsites.
  • Prepare waste for shipment and delivery.
  • Insure the proper use of equipment and materials.
  • Liaison with customers and regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain and contribute to a high level of morale.
  • Aid management and marketing staff with presentations and sales initiatives.
  • Develop new business and service lines as required.
  • Maintain a neat and efficient office environment.
  • Work as directed on special projects as required.
  • Respond to all types of emergency response incidents 24hours a day/ 7 days a week as required when on call.
  • Guide junior members and Response Foremans in the performance of their duties.
  • Coordinate and prioritize area resources to maximize efficiency.
  • Offer input to the General Manager on employee performance appraisals.
The Response Supervisor is expected to be in the office between the hours of 0730 - 1600 Monday thru Friday. After hours work and on-call status is required. The position is a salary position. Employees in the Operations Section are eligible for benefits if and when they become available. Advancement in this section follows the following progression:
  • Operations Manager/Project
  • Manager General Manager
Employees in this section receive an initial performance review at 90 days and an annual review thereafter. Biannual physicals are a mandatory OSHA Requirement. Depending on geography and duties, a company vehicle and cell phone may be issued. Proper use and appropriations are required.
